The hotel rooms looked more like a bad hostel with no internet, no tub, and a musty smell at a higher price. Despite some issues with the A/C for two days, the guest service offered a free dinner without a room discount or upgrade.

The service at the hotel was a mix of experiences. While some staff members were really friendly and helpful, others seemed rude and charged extra when friends joined us at the pool bar. However, housekeeping, tours/ticket assistance, and happy hour were satisfactory.

The hotel's location was excellent, allowing easy walks through Bocagrande, El Laguito, and around the beautiful Castillo Grande bay. A short taxi ride or a pleasant 30-minute walk to the ancient walled city of Cartagena made exploring convenient. The area's size being smaller than an acre added to the cozy feel, but the noise from a nearby factory was a drawback.

The dining experience at the hotel was excellent with traditional Italian dishes, however, the claim of being all-inclusive did not match the reality. Dining after 11 seemed rushed and chaotic, like a cattle call, which was off-putting.
